  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar (or Confectioners' Sugar), plus extra for coating Make sure to have extra for coating
  • 4 ounces Softened Cream Cheese, at room temperature Key for achieving smooth dough
  • 1.5 to 2 cups Chopped Pecans Use as per preference; can substitute with other nuts

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, place the 4 ounces of softened cream cheese.
  2. Gradually add about 2 cups of powdered sugar to the cream cheese, mixing until you have a thick, sticky, and uniform dough.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of the chopped pecans, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  4. On a clean work surface, sprinkle the remaining half cup of chopped pecans.
  5. Roll the mixture into a cylindrical log, pressing gently for the pecans to adhere.
  6. Wrap the log tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Serving
  1. Slice the log into circular pieces, about half an inch thick, and arrange on a platter.

Notes

Store wrapped in plastic wrap in the fridge for up to a week. For longer storage, slice and place in an airtight container.
