Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a spacious bowl, blend together almond flour, softened butter or coconut oil, maple syrup or honey, ground cardamom, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until a cohesive dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan, smoothing the surface.
- If desired, sprinkle chopped pistachios or almonds on top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until the edges turn a light golden hue.
- Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing them into 12 uniform pieces.
Notes
These bars can be enjoyed as a snack or dessert and pair well with herbal tea or yogurt. Store in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
