  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Use full-fat for the best texture.
  • 2 tablespoons bottled French salad dressing
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish Can substitute with cornichons for different texture.
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons white onion, finely minced Mince as finely as possible.
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar Can be adjusted if needed.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, bottled French salad dressing, sweet pickle relish, finely minced white onion, apple cider vinegar, granulated sugar, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
  2. Transfer the Big Mac sauce to a small lidded container, or cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap.
  3. Refrigerate the Big Mac sauce for 2 hours or up to overnight. Be sure to stir the sauce before serving.

Notes

Store the sauce in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days. Always stir before using to restore the sauce's texture. If it develops an off smell or changes color, discard it.
