Method

Preparation of the Brownie Layer
  1. Bake the brownies according to package instructions or your favorite homemade recipe. Let them cool completely, then crumble into a coarse mixture.
Make the Cookie Dough Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy and glossy.
  2. Add your heat-treated flour, vanilla extract, and just enough milk to create a creamy cookie dough consistency.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped maraschino cherries for added sweetness and flavor.
Assemble the Brownie Bombs
  1. Take a scoop of brownie crumbles and press it into a flat disk.
  2. Place a generous spoonful of cookie dough in the center, wrap the brownie around it, and roll it into a ball.
Coat in Chocolate
  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.
  2. Dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, ensuring coverage, and place it on a parchment-lined tray.
Add the Cherry Topping
  1. While the chocolate coating is still soft, gently press a maraschino cherry on top of each brownie bomb.
  2. Allow them to set before indulging.

Notes

For creative coatings, experiment with white chocolate or candy melts. Use almond extract for a nutty flavor, or add chopped nuts and coconut flakes for texture.
