Preparation
- In a saucepan, mix the sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter.
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides.
- Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- With buttered hands, roll the thickened mixture into small balls.
- Roll each ball in chocolate sprinkles to coat.
- Arrange on a plate and serve, or refrigerate until ready to eat.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks; layer with parchment to prevent sticking. For longer storage, freeze individually and thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
