Ingredients

For the crust
  • 1 cup Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup Butter, melted
For the filling
  • 2 cups Apples, peeled and diced Sweet apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work best
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
For topping
  • 1/2 cup Caramel sauce Store-bought caramel sauce is acceptable

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press this mixture into mini muffin tins to form the crusts.
  3. In another bowl, toss diced apples with cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Fill the crusts with the cinnamon-spiced apples.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the apples are tender.
  2. Drizzle caramel sauce over the baked bites.
  3. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Can be enjoyed on their own or with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or additional caramel sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Ensure apples are diced evenly for even cooking and consider adding nuts to the crust for extra crunch.
