Ingredients
  

For the Pie Bombs
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing
  • 1/4 cup sugar for sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon for sprinkling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of apple pie filling and a drizzle of caramel sauce in the center of each square.
  4. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush each ball with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and extra caramel on top. Best enjoyed warm.
