Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder).
- Add shredded cheese and stir until evenly distributed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and egg.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined, but do not overmix.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the bread cool, slice, and enjoy warm.
Notes
Store the bread wrapped tightly at room temperature for up to 2 days, in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or sliced and frozen for up to 3 months.
