Dough and Fillings
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup chopped artichoke hearts
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine artichoke hearts, chopped spinach, softened cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough and cut into star-shaped or tree-shaped pieces.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture in the center of each shape, then fold the edges over the filling to seal.
  5. Arrange the formed shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to create a Christmas tree silhouette.
  6. Brush the formed tree with olive oil and the beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, possibly with a dipping sauce.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat gently in the oven. For deeper flavor, sauté spinach and garlic before adding to the mixture.
