  • 1 egg, beaten Acts as a binder.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For coating the bombs.
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning Classic seasoning that complements seafood.
  • 1/2 tsp paprika Adds color and mild flavor.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper Adjust according to preference.
For Baking
  • 2 tblsp butter, melted For brushing the bombs before baking.
  • 2 tblsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnishing.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine the lump crab meat, cream cheese, beaten egg, and Old Bay seasoning in a bowl.
  2. Fold in the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses until well mixed.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes for easier handling.
Shaping and Baking
  1. Form the mixture into round balls and lightly coat with breadcrumbs.
  2. Place the bombs on a baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
