Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter alongside the granulated and brown sugars until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, allowing them to blend perfectly into the sweet buttery mix.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
Mix Dry Ingredients
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Gently fold in the dried cranberries and orange zest.
- If desired, add the white chocolate chips.
Baking
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to wire racks.
Notes
