Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan forced).
- Sauté the onion, garlic, and bacon until softened.
- Allow to cool slightly and then combine with the remaining ingredients in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into a loaf pan.
Baking
- Bake for approximately 60 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
Let the loaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing to hold together. If the top browns too quickly, tent with foil for the last 15 minutes of baking. Store leftover meatloaf tightly wrapped or in an airtight container.
