Ingredients
  

For the pizza dough
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water
For the chicken tikka
  • 300 g chicken breast, cubed
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tikka masala
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • to taste salt
For the sauce and toppings
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 tbsp fresh cream
  • 1 tsp tikka masala
  • 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 capsicum, thinly sliced
  • 2 green chilies, sliced
  • to garnish fresh coriander
  • for dusting chaat masala

Method
 

Preparing the dough
  1. In a bowl, combine yeast, sugar, and warm water, allowing it to rest for 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, kneading the mixture for ten minutes before letting it rise until doubled in size, around one hour.
Marinating the chicken
  1. As the dough rises, marinate the cubed chicken in a mix of yogurt, tikka masala, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, oil, and salt for two hours.
  2. Grill under high heat until charred.
Making the sauce
  1. Cook minced garlic in butter, add tomato paste and tikka masala, then gently fold in cream to simmer for three minutes.
Assembling the pizza
  1. Roll the dough thin and spread the tikka cream sauce evenly across it.
  2. Sprinkle grated mozzarella, then add the grilled tikka chicken, red onion, capsicum, and green chilies.
  3. Bake in the oven at 220°C for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden.
Serving
  1. Dust with chaat masala and garnish with fresh coriander before serving.

Notes

To elevate your pizza, consider experimenting with different cheeses or adding seasonal vegetables. A hint of fresh lime juice over the finished pizza can brighten the flavors beautifully.
