  • 3 eggs
  • 0.75 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 0.5 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Topping Ingredients
  • 1 cup chocolate (halal certified)
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream (or milk) Use heavy cream for creamier topping.

Method
 

Baking the Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F).
  2. In one bowl, beat the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the milk, oil, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool completely.
Preparing the Topping
  1. Heat the cream until warm, but do not boil.
  2. Add chocolate to the cream and stir until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate topping over the cooled cake and let it set.
Serving
  1. Cut the cake into squares and serve with whipped cream and fruits like strawberries or raspberries.
