Preparation
- Begin by melting the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring gently until it’s smooth and glossy.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar together until they’re light and creamy.
- Once your chocolate is melted and slightly cooled, fold it into the egg mixture.
- Whip the cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold that into the chocolate mixture.
- Add the orange juice and zest, folding them in gently.
- Carefully pour the mixture into glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Serving
- Present the mousse in beautiful glasses topped with a sprinkle of orange zest or a decorative piece of chocolate.
Notes
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. Best enjoyed fresh.
