Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup pecan halves Toasted for enhanced flavor
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Can substitute with milk chocolate for a sweeter twist
  • ½ cup caramel candies Melted with butter
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter Optional, for melting with caramel
  • to taste sea salt Optional, for sprinkling on top

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast them for about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel candies and butter (if using). Melt gently until smooth, stirring frequently.
  3. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper. Form clusters with 3 to 4 pecans clumped together and drizzle the melted caramel over the top.
Serving
  1. Serve warm or at room temperature on a platter, optionally sprinkled with sea salt.
Storage
  1. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week, or freeze with parchment paper between layers for easy separation.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add vanilla extract to the caramel. Avoid overcrowding clusters for the best results. Feel free to replace pecans with almonds or walnuts.
