Ingredients
  

For the cake
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the filling
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • melted chocolate (for drizzling) optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Add eggs and hot water, stirring until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking tray, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake the cake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let it cool completely.
Assembly
  1. Spread a generous layer of peanut butter on top of the cooled cake.
  2. Carefully roll the cake tightly.
  3. Place it in the fridge until chilled.
  4. Drizzle with melted chocolate just before serving.

Notes

For best results, make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Use a kitchen towel sprinkled with powdered sugar to prevent sticking while rolling.
