Ingredients
  

For the mixture
  • 1 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) Can substitute with crushed pretzels or omitted for nut allergies.
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk Can be replaced with a vegan alternative.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For rolling
  • ½ cup chocolate sprinkles

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed vanilla wafers, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  2. Fold in the chopped nuts.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the sweetened condensed milk mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until the mixture becomes a semi-sticky mass.
  5. Shape the mixture into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  6. Roll the balls in chocolate sprinkles and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  7. Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow them to chill and set.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For deeper flavor, add orange zest or almond extract. For variations, use coconut flakes or incorporate coffee powder.
