Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce homemade or canned
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt to enhance flavors

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, cranberry sauce, and vanilla extract.
  2. Using a hand mixer or a whisk, blend everything together until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors, then taste and adjust as needed.
  4. Once it’s just right, transfer the butter to a decorative jar or bowl.
  5. Chill for a bit if you’d like it to firm up, but keep it spreadable.

Notes

For added zest, include orange zest or fold in chopped pecans for texture. Adjust cranberry sauce to taste; use more honey for a sweeter butter. This butter can be stored in an airtight container for about two weeks.
