  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25-ounce)
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles Choose colorful sprinkles for decoration.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For rolling the cookie dough.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the yellow cake mix, mixing until a thick dough forms.
  5. Fold in the holiday sprinkles gently.
  6. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Scoop out tablespoons of dough and roll them into 1 1/2-inch balls.
  2. Roll each ball in powdered sugar before placing them on the lined baking sheets with 2 inches of space between each.
  3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  4. Cool on sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

To enhance the flavor, use high-quality butter and allow the cream cheese to fully soften. Experiment with different sprinkles to customize your cookies.
