- Remove from heat and whisk in heavy cream and vanilla extract until smooth.
Assembly
- Pour the toffee mixture over the Saltine crackers, ensuring all corners are covered.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, watching for bubbling and golden edges.
- While warm, sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
