Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serving
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and a dash of cinnamon for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled loaf, let it set, then slice and serve.
Notes
Store at room temperature wrapped in parchment for up to 2 days. Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze individual slices for up to 1 month. Warm slightly before serving.
