Preparation
- Butter an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, add Rice Krispies and toss with cinnamon. Set aside.
Cooking
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until almost melted, leaving a few lumps for texture.
- Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Rice Krispies until well coated.
- Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly press the mixture into the buttered pan.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar as desired.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
For clean cuts, briefly chill the bars before slicing. Store in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers to maintain texture. Avoid refrigeration.
