Copycat Buster Bars

Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 2/3 cup salted peanuts For layering
  • 1.5 quarts vanilla bean ice cream Softened for easier scooping
  • 1 jar hot fudge sauce, Smuckers brand For piping around layers
  • 14.5 ounces Magic Shell chocolate flavored topping, Smuckers brand For coating the bars
Assembly Supplies
  • 8.5 to 9.0 ounces clear plastic disposable cups For holding the bars
  • 8 pieces popsicle sticks For serving

Method
 

Assembly
  1. Line up the plastic cups on a tray for assembly.
  2. Place 1 teaspoon of salted peanuts into the bottom of each cup.
  3. Add 2 small scoops of vanilla bean ice cream into each cup and press down gently to flatten.
  4. Pipe hot fudge sauce around the edge of each cup using a ziploc bag.
  5. Layer another teaspoon of peanuts on top of the fudge, then add 2 more scoops of ice cream, pressing down again.
  6. Pipe more hot fudge on top and sprinkle another teaspoon of peanuts.
  7. Insert a popsicle stick into the center of each cup and freeze for 2 hours.
Finalizing
  1. To unmold, dip each cup in cool water for 10 seconds, then pull up the popsicle stick.
  2. Dip each bar in the Magic Shell topping after ensuring they are frozen solid, allowing excess to drip off.
  3. Set the bars back on the tray to harden.

Notes

Serve immediately after dipping. For best texture, consume within two weeks. Wrap individually in parchment or store in an airtight container.
