Ingredients
  

Pasta and Base
  • 12 ounces small shell pasta Cooked until al dente
Dressing
  • 1.25 cups mayonnaise
  • 2.5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning Can be replaced if needed
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
Salad Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped For garnish and flavor
  • 1/3 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 12 ounces imitation crab meat, chopped or flaked
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta in boiling water until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water to cool it.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, imitation crab meat, celery, red onion, green onions, and thawed peas.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta and gently fold to coat all ingredients.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 to 2 hours or overnight to let flavors blend.
  6. Before serving, give the salad a gentle stir and serve chilled.

Notes

Garnish with fresh dill or lemon slices. Pairs well with grilled meats.
