For the Cake
  • 190 g cream cheese At room temperature
  • 200 g butter At room temperature
  • 397 g condensed milk About one can
  • 4 pieces eggs At room temperature
  • 2 spoons vanilla essence Use for flavor
  • 320 g wheat flour All-purpose flour
  • 2 spoons baking powder To leaven the cake
  • 200 ml evaporated milk Half a can

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Beat the cream cheese with the butter until it gets a smooth and homogeneous cream.
  2. Add the condensed milk little by little, beating to absorb well.
  3. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the vanilla essence and evaporated milk.
  5. Knead the flour with the baking powder three times to make the dough lighter.
  6. Gently incorporate the dry ingredients into the liquid mixture with a spatula, avoiding overmixing.
Baking
  1. Pour the dough into a greased and floured loaf pan.
  2. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 60 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  3. Let it cool completely before serving.

Notes

Serve slightly warmed with caramel drizzle, toasted nuts, or bright fruit compote for contrast. Cool completely and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
