Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
Filling and Topping
  • 2 cups pastry cream or vanilla buttercream
  • 300 grams fresh sliced strawberries
  • 200 grams melted milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • to taste chocolate chips
  • to decorate strawberries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the eggs with the sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the oil and milk, and blend well to ensure a smooth batter.
  4. Sift and stir in the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a round mold and bake for 30-35 minutes.
Assembly
  1. Once baked, allow the cake to cool. Cut it in half carefully to create two layers.
  2. Layer the cake with vanilla buttercream and a generous handful of fresh strawberries.
  3. Mix the melted chocolate with cream and pour it over the layered cake.
  4. Decorate with additional fresh strawberries and chocolate chips.

Notes

Ensure ingredients are at room temperature before starting. Don't rush the cooling process for clean layers. Consider adding mini chocolate chips between layers for extra delight.
