Ingredients

  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 pack cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 lemons Juice of 2 lemons
For the Layers
  • 1 pack Maria cookies
  • Chopped strawberries
  • Half ripped grapes
  • Cubed mango or peach
  • Kiwi slices or cubes
  • Chopped walnuts for decoration (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix the evaporated milk, condensed milk, cream cheese, vanilla, and lemon juice until smooth.
  2. Dip the Maria cookies in milk briefly, then start layering in a serving dish: cookies, followed by the cream mixture, then a burst of fruit.
  3. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream.
  4. Refrigerate for a few hours to let it set and meld the flavors.
  5. Top with chopped walnuts before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve chilled, optionally garnished with a sprig of mint or a dusting of powdered sugar.
  2. Pair with freshly brewed coffee or tea for a delightful treat.

  1. Cover with plastic wrap or a lid and store in the refrigerator for up to three days.

Notes

For variations, switch up fruits based on seasonal availability. You can also add a splash of liqueur to the cream mixture for an adult version. Consider mixing in cocoa powder for a chocolate version or using ladyfingers instead of Maria cookies.
