Preparation
- In a saucepan, combine the water, butter, and salt, and let the mixture come to a boil.
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in the flour until it forms a ball.
- Let it cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one by one until the dough is smooth.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Spoon the dough into a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe small bites into the basket.
- Fry the churro bites for about 5–7 minutes or until golden brown.
Coating
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Once cooked, roll the churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra flair, drizzle some caramel on top after rolling them in sugar. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for optimal freshness.
