Ingredients
  

For the Wonton Cups
  • 24 wrappers wonton wrappers
For the Filling
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or green onions, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation of Wonton Cups
  1. Press the wonton wrappers into a greased muffin tin and give them a light spray of oil.
  2. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 6–8 minutes until they turn golden brown.
Cooking the Filling
  1. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the shrimp and cook until they are pink and golden.
Mixing the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cooked shrimp.
  2. Stir well to create a cheesy filling.
Final Baking
  1. Once the wonton cups are ready, fill them generously with the shrimp mixture.
  2. Bake for an additional 8–10 minutes until everything is bubbling and heated through.
Serving
  1. Garnish with extra shrimp, chopped parsley, or green onions before serving warm.

Notes

Best served warm with sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat to maintain crunch.
