  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional) Adds flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it with unsalted butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Pour the chocolate cake mix into the baking dish, spreading it flat and evenly across the bottom.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, whole milk, and vanilla extract until thickened.
  4. Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cake mix, ensuring to cover it well. Gently mix the mixture with a fork to avoid dry pockets.
  5. Sprinkle 1.5 cups of chocolate chips across the top of the mixture.
Baking
  1. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the edges are firm and the center is slightly jiggly.
  2. Remove the cake from the oven and immediately sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of chocolate chips over the top.
  3. Allow it to set for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzled chocolate sauce, or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
