  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Almond flakes For topping; adds crunch.
  • Sea salt flakes For garnish; enhances flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly coat a 5x5 inch oven-safe meal prep container with oil or butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the egg, mashed banana, cottage cheese, and honey until smooth.
Baking
  1. Fold in cocoa powder and baking powder until fully combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into the prepared container and level it out.
  3. Sprinkle almond flakes on top.
  4. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the edges pull away slightly and the center puffs.
  5. Allow to cool and finish with a sprinkle of sea salt flakes.

Notes

Best enjoyed warm with Greek yogurt or fresh berries. Store in an airtight container for up to three days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to a week. Allow to come to room temperature before serving.
