Ingredients
  

Fresh Fruits
  • 2 pieces bananas Peeled and sliced
  • 1 piece apple Peeled and sliced
  • 1 piece pear Peeled and sliced
  • 1 handful red berries Drained if frozen
Gratin Mixture
  • 2 pieces eggs Beaten
  • 100 ml liquid cream Can be substituted with plant-based options
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey Optional
  • Butter For greasing the dish
  • Grated almonds or grated coconut Optional for topping

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Peel and slice the bananas, apple, and pear, then place them in a bowl.
  3. If using frozen red berries, drain them.
  4. Grease a gratin dish with butter.
Assembly
  1. Arrange the fruits aesthetically in the greased gratin dish.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the cream and vanilla sugar. Add honey if desired.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the fruits.
  4. Sprinkle with grated almonds or coconut if using.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days.
