Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Milky Way bars, chopped (about 4 bars)
Cheesecake Layer
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, stirring in the vanilla extract after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped Milky Way bars.
  7. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan evenly.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  9. Add powdered sugar and the second dose of vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  10. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and swirl with a knife or toothpick.
  11. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  2. Allow to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with a drizzle of caramel on top, or pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week. These might taste even better the next day.
