Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, stirring in the vanilla extract after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Milky Way bars.
- Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan evenly.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add powdered sugar and the second dose of vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and swirl with a knife or toothpick.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
Serve warm with a drizzle of caramel on top, or pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week. These might taste even better the next day.
