  • 1 whole pre-made pie crust Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon For flavoring
  • to taste Jimmy sprinkles For decoration

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, mix the sugar and cornstarch.
  3. Slowly whisk in the heavy cream and vanilla over medium heat, stirring until the mixture thickens.
  4. Pour the custard filling into the pre-made pie crust.
  5. Cool the pie completely before decorating.
  6. Once cool, decorate with Jimmy sprinkles.
Serving
  1. Serve chilled with a dollop of whipped cream or a dusting of cinnamon.

Notes

For deeper flavor, consider adding nutmeg or bourbon to the cream while heating. Ensure custard thickens properly before pouring into the crust.
