  • 1 pack Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • 4 oz Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 large Egg (beaten) For brushing on top

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapeños, and garlic powder. Stir until everything is well blended and creamy.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into strips about 1 inch wide.
  4. Take a strip of puff pastry and place a spoonful of the cheese and jalapeño mixture at one end.
  5. Fold in the sides to enclose the filling, then twist the pastry to create a spiral.
  6. Place the twisted pastries on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a beautiful golden color when baked.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the twists are puffed and golden brown.
  2. Allow them to cool slightly before serving to enjoy them at their best!
