Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 16 ounces peanut butter sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the filling
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 3.9 ounces instant chocolate pudding
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip
  • 0.5 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cups peanut butter chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Lightly spray an 8x8-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. In a small bowl, combine crushed cookies and melted butter, then press into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool completely.
Assembly
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Spread over the cooled crust.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator to let the flavors mingle.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until fully combined. Spread over the chocolate layer.
  4. Top with Cool Whip, sprinkle with milk chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and reserved crushed cookies.
  5. Chill for at least 2 hours, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For an added flavor boost, consider adding a dash of espresso powder to the chocolate pudding layer. For a creative garnish, drizzle melted chocolate on top before serving.
