Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 120 g butter, melted Use unsalted butter for better control of sweetness.
  • 160 g sweetened condensed milk Warm slightly if thick for easier mixing.
  • 250 g malt biscuits, crushed Any crunchy sweet biscuit can be substituted.
  • 150 g Fruit puffs or Explorers, chopped Chop small to ensure even distribution.
  • 1/4 cup coconut Use shredded coconut for a better texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line a slice tin (approx 20 x 20cm) with baking paper.
  2. Melt the butter and condensed milk together in the microwave.
  3. Add the crushed biscuits and chopped fruit puffs and mix until combined.
  4. Tip the mixture into the lined tin, spreading it out evenly to the edges.
  5. Press the mixture down firmly using the back of a metal spoon.
  6. Sprinkle coconut over the top.
  7. Chill in the fridge until set for at least 2 hours or speed up in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  8. Once set, cut into slices with a large knife.

Notes

For best results, press firmly and use a heated knife for cutting. Can be stored in the fridge for up to a week or frozen for longer storage.
