  • enough to top up milk (to reach 2 cups after whisking ice cream)
  • 3/4 cup egg whites
  • 15.25 ounce box Pillsbury white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup pastel cookie sprinkles
Frosting Ingredients
  • 15 ounce tub vanilla frosting
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk (for frosting)
  • Food coloring

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a standard 10-12 cup nonstick Bundt pan with Baker's release spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the melted ice cream until it gleams and measure carefully, adding milk until the mixture reaches 2 cups.
  3. Introduce the egg whites to the ice cream mixture and blend them together, then gently incorporate the cake mix until smooth.
  4. Add food coloring to create your desired hue and fold in the sprinkles.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes before turning it out onto a wire rack.
Frosting and Serving
  1. Prepare the frosting by dividing it into two bowls. Add food coloring and a drizzle of milk to create a drizzle.
  2. Once frosted, sprinkle additional pastel adornments and let the icing set for 30-45 minutes.
  3. Serve as the centerpiece in gatherings, sharing this delightful cake.
