Ingredients
  

For the sliders
  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
  • 8-10 slices cheddar cheese or preferred cheese Good melting cheese
  • 4 tbsp melted butter For brushing on top
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, beef bacon, or chicken bacon (optional) Adds flavor and texture
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them.
  3. Lay cheese slices evenly on the bottom half.
  4. Add turkey bacon, beef bacon, or chicken bacon if using.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  7. Brush the butter mixture across the tops of the rolls.
Baking
  1. Cover with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
  2. Remove foil and bake another 5-7 minutes until golden.
  3. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Serve alongside a bowl of tomato soup or with a small jar of jam or pickles for a sweet-savory contrast. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and reheat in the oven or microwave.
