Preparation
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Remove from heat and add the orange-flavored chocolate chips, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the orange zest and vanilla extract.
- Allow the mixture to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.
Rolling and Coating
- Once firm, scoop out tablespoons of the mixture and roll them into balls.
- Roll each ball in cocoa powder or crushed nuts to coat.
Storage and Serving
- Place the truffles in an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
