Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced Ripe peaches yield the best flavor.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Can substitute with Greek yogurt or mascarpone.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Adds warmth and flavor.
Dough
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz package.
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour To prevent sticking.
Topping
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash) Gives the rolls a golden finish.
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting) Optional for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss together diced peaches, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with brown sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Assembly
  1. On the wide end of each triangle, spoon a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture and a tablespoon of the peach mixture.
  2. Gently roll up the triangle from the wide end, tucking in the sides to seal the filling.
  3. Place the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with the beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Let cool briefly and then dust tops with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Best served warm from the oven. Try pairing with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
