Preparation
  1. Begin by softening the dates by blending them with honey until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and yogurt until well combined.
  3. Gently fold all ingredients together, ensuring the diced pears are well mixed in.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the cake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

Store the cake wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or in an airtight container. It can be kept at room temperature for up to three days or in the fridge for up to a week. Let it return to room temperature before serving.
