  • 3/4 cup cold whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vodka Can substitute with cold brew coffee for a non-alcoholic version.
  • 1/4 cup peppermint schnapps Can be omitted for a non-alcoholic version.
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons instant espresso powder Adjust to taste.
Whipped Cream
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, very cold Chill the mixing bowl and beaters for better results.
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract For extra peppermint flavor.
For Serving
  • Optional: sprinkles and peppermint bark for topping Add for decoration and extra flavor.
  • 12 ounce plastic shot glasses Choose a fun design for festive occasions.

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, milk, vodka, peppermint schnapps, and espresso powder until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, beat the heavy cream and peppermint extract together until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold 1.5 cups of whipped cream into the pudding mixture to keep it airy.
  4. Pour the mixture into shot glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.
Setting
  1. Refrigerate the shot glasses for about 30 to 60 minutes until set.
Serving
  1. Top each pudding shot with reserved whipped cream and sprinkle with sprinkles and peppermint bark if desired.
