Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs Makes the base of the dessert.
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, melted To bind the graham cracker crumbs.
Cream cheese layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure it's softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Sweetens the cream cheese layer.
  • 2 cups whipped topping Two cups total; one for mixing and one for topping.
Pumpkin layer
  • 1 can pumpkin puree (15 oz) The star ingredient for the pumpkin flavor.
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice Adds warmth and spice.
  • 0.5 cups milk To combine with the pumpkin mixture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until blended, then press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to create a crust.
  3. Bake the crust for about 10 minutes and let it cool completely.
Cream cheese layer
  1. In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in one cup of whipped topping and spread the mixture over the cooled crust.
Pumpkin layer
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and milk until well combined.
  2. Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  3. Dollop the remaining whipped topping over the pumpkin layer.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled. Can be topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon or chopped pecans. Store covered in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.
