  • 2 cups sugar Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour Can substitute with a gluten-free blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings

  • to taste Whipped coconut cream or vegan frosting For topping

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the vegan butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt, and mix until just combined.
  4. Slowly stir in the non-dairy milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let brownies cool completely, then cut into squares.
Assembly
  1. Top each brownie square with whipped coconut cream and a piece of red fruit to create Santa's hat.
