  • 1 lb Pecan Halves
  • 1 large Egg White
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Coating Mixture
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg white, water, and vanilla extract until frothy.
Coating the Pecans
  1. Add the pecan halves to the egg white mixture and toss until coated.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Pour the sugar mixture over the coated pecans and toss to combine.
  4. Spread the pecans evenly on the prepared baking pan.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Storage
  1. Once cooled, store the pecans in an airtight container or a freezer-safe bag.
