Steaming
- Fill the cupcake liners generously with batter.
- Boil water in a steamer, place the molds inside, and steam on medium heat for 2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and continue steaming for an additional 16 minutes.
Serving
- Allow cupcakes to cool before serving. Top with powdered sugar or cream cheese frosting, if desired.
