- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until light and fluffy, about three minutes.
- Gradually mix in the sweetened condensed milk and continue to beat for two minutes until combined.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl, and beat for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the flour and baking powder, and beat until just incorporated.
- Gently fold in any personal additions like chocolate chips or nuts, if desired.
- Using a cookie scoop, portion the dough into small mounds on a lined baking sheet.
Baking
- Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C) and bake for about 12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
- Allow to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Dust the cooled snowballs with confectioners' sugar before serving.
Notes
Best enjoyed with tea or coffee; can be frozen for longer storage. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
