Filling
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs Use room temperature for better mixing
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans Lightly toasted for enhanced flavor
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Dark chocolate chips can be used for richer flavor

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a spacious bowl, combine corn syrup, sugar, and melted butter until blended.
  3. Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Allow the pie to cool before serving.

Notes
